Kate & Brandon had their Rockcliffe Pavilion and Courtyard Restaurant last July. Not all weddings are huge and crazy events. This was a perfect example of a very laid back, low-stress, and FUN day. It felt much more like hanging out with friends than “working a wedding”.
Getting ready started at the Westin Hotel with the usual stunning view of downtown and plenty of laughs and tears. Soon after we headed to Rockcliffe and the Pavilion to meet with Alan Viau to get these two married! The most bizarre thing happened at the Pavilion when I realized that for the first time in over 500 weddings, the ceremony started 15 minutes early! This is not something you ever expect to happen but it is possible in a smaller wedding.
After the ceremony, we had a couple of hours of casually taking advantage of the beautiful scenery in Rockcliffe and downtown followed by a perfect dinner in a private room at the Courtyard. A simple, relaxed, and perfect day!
