I hope that everyone had a great New Year’s celebration and is looking forward to 2008. We spent part of our New Year’s Eve on Parliament Hill with the biggest crowd I have ever seen on the Hill in winter. The fireworks were at least as good as any I have seen although my incredible talent for finding the worst spot possible to watch them came through once again.
After the fireworks we headed to Beckta Dining & Wine for our New Year’s dinner. If you have not been there, I HIGHLY suggest that you check this place out. We have been to a lot of great restaurants over the years and this one easily stands out on top. The personal attention to detail for each and every person there last night was mind-boggling to say the least. Check them out between Bank and Kent on Nepean St.
