Last summer, Dominique & Sean had something that we had never really had a name for before – A Micro Wedding (aka Petite Wedding)!
It’s not really a difficult concept let’s not make a big deal about it. A micro-wedding is exactly what the name suggests, it’s a small wedding so why does it need a name? Thanks to Covid-19, there were severe restrictions on the number of indoor and outdoor guests one could invite to a wedding. Many people also already had everything booked and decided to make the best of it by having a much smaller version of their originally planned wedding. This summer, many others just decided that if they still wanted to get married that they may as well have a Micro-Wedding.
That brings us to Dominique and Sean. They belong to the first category of micro-wedding and they converted their original wedding to a legally sized wedding by having a small ceremony in Chelsea Quebec and a reception at a chalet along the Gatineau River. They are proof that you can still have a perfect day with some flexibility and the right people.
Thanks to everyone involved for making this a great day to part of!
