Katreena and Mathieu had their Saunders Farm wedding a couple of weeks ago.
Every wedding has a different feel and a different personality. Usually by the end of the day you can use one or two words to describe that personality. These words can range a great deal from “cool”, “elegant”, “fun”, “crazy” (the good kind), and any number of descriptions. This isn’t to say that there aren’t many different facets to a wedding but there is always a dominant theme. The words that came to mind as we drove away from Saunders farm late that evening were “joy” and “laughter”. Katreena is a teacher who oozes with energy and lights up any place she goes. Mathieu is ridiculously warm and thoughtful. Together they are a power couple of sweetness and fun.
Saunders Farm is really the perfect place for this kind of wedding. There is so much space to move around and many things for everyone to do. There was so much to do in fact that it took some effort to get everyone back into the reception hall. For wedding photography, it’s a dream. There is something about suits and elegant dresses on a bouncy pillow that is irresistible to most. It certainly helped that we had perfect weather for the whole day and that possibly there was some alcohol involved.
It was a great pleasure to be part of this fantastic day and I wish Katreena and Mathieu the best possible future together!
