Michelle & Kevin were married at South Gloucester United a few weeks ago followed by a reception in Carleton University’s River Building. Both were exciting as I had never shot at either location which doesn’t happen that often after over 350 weddings in the Ottawa area.
Kevin is an AVID amateur photographer so we had a lot of fun discussing ideas and techniques over the course of time from their engagement shoot and up to their wedding. Michelle politely refrained from rolling her eyes or yawning in our presence during these discussions as she has a PhD to think about. I started early on the Saturday with the girls at the Holtz Spa on Rideau and then back to the family home right across the road from the church. After photos on the family farm we headed to Carleton University’s River Building for some more photos and the reception. Very cool location!
All in all a perfect summer day for a truly wonderful couple. Thanks for a great day you guys.
