Emily & Aaron had a partial Stonefields wedding a couple of weeks ago. By “partial”, I mean that the ceremony took place at Emily’s parents’ property while the reception was held at Stonefields.
The most enjoyable part about photographing a wedding at someone’s childhood home is that you get the opportunity to incorporate a lot of personal and family history in the wedding photos. This serves to make the photos not just beautiful but also more rich in meaning. The day started with Aaron and the boys at Aaron’s parents’ only a few along kilometres away from Emily. As it turns out, these two have known each other since they were little kids. Not only do they have pictures of themselves as kids but have also had most of the same friends during that entire time. A huge number of these people were at the wedding and it made for some extremely funny stories about the trials of growing up.
The weather was surprisingly hot for late September and made for a gorgeous and fun time. Best of luck to you both!

Sometimes they need a little push…
A fun capture from Jessica, a ladybug hitches a ride on a bridesmaid while walking down the aisle.
