Jaclyn and Andrew had their Strathmere wedding a few weeks back. It’s always fun to meet up with people who you have not seen in a year and be reminded of why you were so excited to shoot their wedding. Jaclyn is a very smart, and yet very calm person who just seems to put everyone around her at ease. I honestly can’t remember a bride who was the most relaxed person in an entire wedding party! Andrew, in his “Dutch-ness”, may be smart and all sorts of wonderful things but I just liked that he really knows how to enjoy himself and the company of his family and friends. Quite a great combo on a wedding day!
Strathmere as expected, was in their usual machine-like efficient mode for keeping things on track, truly wonderful food, and perfect service. I have been shooting there for over 10 years so it’s surprising to be able to say that they are better now than ever. Add to this the relief of a perfect fall day and we could do no wrong.
