Emilia and Emile had their big Lebanese wedding a few weeks ago. To be honest it was only half Lebanese but this whole day had all the hallmarks of a Lebanese blowout. Getting ready started with the guys and about 50 of their closest family and friends. This makes for a lot of fun and even more eating. Once done with the guys we traveled over to see the girls and were eventually joined by most of the people who were with the guys! I have to say that this is a great way to get to know everyone at a wedding. Another big bonus for this entire time was that we were able to shoot with Reno Video who we do not get to work with nearly enough. Over 10 hours with these guys and it never got old!
Once at St Charbel Maronite Catholic Church in the east end, we were treated to a traditional ceremony complete with crowns. Most of our portrait time was spent downtown and we thankfully avoided any rain. Finally we made our way to the Double Tree Hotel in Aylmer for a blast of a night filled with great food, Brazilian dancers, a belly dancer, and a great crowd to photograph. All in all, an amazing day!
