Liz and Dave had their Next Stittsville wedding at the end of October. This also happened to be the last wedding of the regular season.
The story of me shooting this wedding started when I was six years old, living in rural Québec and my mother introduced me to another six-year-old on the first day of school. Liz happens to be the daughter of my longest running friend. You’ll notice that I don’t mention the year or how long ago that was. Believe me, it was a long time ago. 🙂
This also means that I have known Liz longer than any other bride that I have photographed before. I have to say that having seen the transition of Liz from a little kid to a very accomplished, outgoing, ridiculously energetic, and very happy woman is a little mind blowing. Seeing that she has found her match in all of those traits in Dave is even more so.
Getting ready started in Kanata with the guys and moved to Richmond, Ontario for the girls. There was a good chance of rain most of the day but we managed to stay dry. From Richmond we headed back into Kanata to Holy Redeemer Church. After the ceremony we headed to beautiful Almonte for wedding party and couple photos. Once we finished the couple photos, we headed to Next in Stittsville for awesome food and an exceptional reception. It comes as a pretty big relief when one of the best wedding of the season also happens to be the last. Ending on such a high note with such great people makes this one of the best years we have had.
