Christiane & Robert had their Notre Dame Cathedral Basilica wedding in Ottawa’s ByWard Market just last week.
I have to admit that the week leading up to their wedding made me a little nervous. Not to get into any details but there was an unfortunate accident that made it a little difficult for them to walk around. This isn’t a problem for us as photographers, but it can put a damper on a couple’s day. I still wasn’t sure when we arrived at the church how things would go, but the moment that Christiane and Robert saw each other, it was obvious that there was nothing to worry about. From that moment on there was nothing but smiles and an overall feel of complete relaxed, contentment. This was a perfect example of how know matter how much you worry, the only thing that matters is each other.
This was a short shooting day for us which started at the Cathedral, had us shooting in the market, and ending at the Courtyard Restaurant at the beginning of the reception. Still plenty of time to get great shots and to enjoy a beautiful event. Congratulations to you both! It was a great day! Many thanks to Melanie Shields for assisting and shooting with me.
