My first lead wedding shoot at photoVanBeek was an amazing introduction to the 2011 season. Please enjoy! – Julie
In a wonderful community just north of Ottawa in the Gatineau hills, Paula and Levi got married on a beautiful, albeit chilly, April day. From the intimate ceremony performed by a good family friend to the emotional speeches at the reception, this was truly a heart-warming wedding. Paula made her own gorgeous wedding gown and headpiece, and the Mustang they drove away in was borrowed from a family member. Personal touches were endless and it was truly an honour to be a part of their special day.

Paula is my cousin and I wanted to say thank you for capturing her special day in such a beautiful and meaning way. I absolutely love the photos!

Gorgeous pictures!
I love the feel of these shots. So personal! I agree with Angela, a pitchfork would have been so fun. That last shot is breath taking!
What a beautiful array of photo’s. I love the one with the bridesmaids all wearing their rainboots. Too cute.
Great job, Julie! It looks like you really caught the feeling of the wedding.
Absolutely amazing pics, Julie! They make me wish I could get married again and hire you as my photographer.

Impossible to pick a fav, Julie!
I do kind of wish there was one of the bride and groom in front of the house holding a pitchfork 😉
