Emily & James had their wedding at the Courtyard Restaurant a few weeks ago.
It was fun to start the day off with Emily and James by shooting their couple photos around the National Gallery of Canada. The nice thing about starting this way is that you tend to be shooting while everyone else is in the middle of their ceremonies so you have the pick of every location without anyone around. This also gives couples a chance to get one nerve-wracking part of the day finished so that they can avoid the break from seeing their family and friends between the ceremony and the reception.
To top it off, it was a pleasure to work with these two because of the energy level that they maintained throughout. Where sometimes people ask for direction and aren’t sure what to do, I had to just keep watching and shoot like mad to keep up with the show.
Everything at the Courtyard was a great as expected, from the ceremony to late in the night after dinner. Thanks Emily and James for being so much fun!
