Lara & Dan had their Courtyard Restaurant Wedding just this past weekend in the ByWard Market.
To be honest, I don’t even know where to start with this wedding. The only part of this day that made it “like any other wedding” was the fact that we had 2 people who are madly in love getting married. They even dressed like regular folks to avoid mass confusion. Everything else is another story… We had lollipop bouquets, marshmallow throwing bouquets, converse bridal shoes, a unity ice-cream sundae (with nuts to reflect their personalities), hardcore social media updating, and more personal touches than I could imagine. Amidst all this crazy/goofy fun there was no doubt that in the middle of it all were the two sweetest, most generous, and fantastically lucky people in the world. Surrounding them was an army of equally lovely people making this day one that I won’t forget any time soon. I was tempted to call this post “Bitches be Married!” as part of the running joke/theme of the wedding day but it just doesn’t work with my SEO strategy 🙂
