R & A had an Aquatopia Water Garden Conservatory wedding last October. I first met S &A via a Skype call last year from New York City and knew immediately that we were going to have a great time on their wedding day.
The actual event started the day before the wedding day with a traditional tea ceremony in Kanata followed the next day with the entire wedding party at the Brookstreet Hotel. It was a relatively long getting ready time since everyone was in one hotel and we could move back and forth between the guys and the girls to get all the key times. By the time we left the hotel, we had most of the family photos complete, and that was when the obligatory 2017 rain started. We didn’t have the opportunity to photograph outside again from then on but thankfully Aquatopia made for a beautiful backdrop for the rest of the night.
From start to finish, the day was high energy, detail-filled, and surprisingly intimate given the number of people and space we had. It was a gorgeous way to end our October.
Special thanks to Courtney from Courtney Elizabeth Events for running everything so smoothly and keep us all on track!
